Secondary School Entrance Examination. Each of these Scholarships is tenable for five years in a secondary school.

210. The Police Pakistani Primary School at Fanling, Police Depot, New Territories is providing education for children of the Pakistani Rank & File stationed in the New Territories. Since opening in 1965, this School has operated very successfully and has currently 68 pupils.

211. Post-primary education for children of the rank and file continued at Arsenal Street and Cheung Sha Wan Evening Schools. Arsenal Street has 43 students (three classes), and Cheung Sha Wan Road has 100 pupils (four classes).

212. For the academic year 1966-67, 13 university grants were given to children of the Police Rank & File attending university, including four new matriculants. Ten of these scholarships are tenable at the Hong Kong University, and three at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

213. The annual launch picnics provided for children in Police Schools were arranged in May and June 1966, and again proved very successful.

214. The 13th Annual Police Primary Schools Joint Sports Meeting was held on Wednesday, 21st December, 1966 at the Police Sports Ground, Boundary Street, Kowloon and was attended by a total of approximately 2,170 children, 258 of whom were competitors. The Commissioner of Police attended and presented the prizes.

SCOUTING

215. The Kowloon Troop at present consists of 40 Scouts and 40 Wolf Cubs; the Hong Kong Troop has 26 Scouts and the New Territories Troop 16 Scouts and 21 Cubs. The Girl Guide Company has 18 members at present. During 1966-67 two Queen's Scout Medals and one Distinction Award from the Hong Kong Royal Life Saving Society, were awarded to Scouts of the Kowloon Troop.

HEALTH, MEDICAL POSTS AND DENTAL CLINICS

216. The three Medical Posts and Dental Clinics, namely Central, Canton Road and Cheung Sha Wan Rank & File married quarters deal with cases of sickness or minor injuries.

217. 10,607 Police officers were included in the annual X-ray survey of the Force and civilian staff, 47 cases of active tuberculosis were dis-
