A start has been made on the conversion of information contained on files and dossiers in the Criminal Records Office to punch cards. The picture shows two key-punch operators at work and a sorter on the right.

Information used in the licensing of drivers and registration of vehicles is now being transferred from files and dossiers to punch cards.
