HEALTH

53. The number of working-days lost during the year due to sickness. was 28,934. Those lost by officers totalled 2,920 and by the Rank and File 26,014. The number of persons suffering from tuberculosis accounted for 3,058 of the total days lost. This figure shows a further decrease in the incidence of this disease among police personnel. The figure for last year was 4,310 man-days lost.
