Chinese Partnerships Ordinance (Cap. 31)

Limited Partnerships Ordinance (Cap. 37)
91. This Ordinance, which applies only to such partnerships as in the opinion of the Registrar of Companies can properly be described as non-Chinese partnerships (Chinese partnerships being registrable under the Chinese Partnerships Ordinance-see the preceding paragraph), enables partnerships to be registered between one or more general part- ners liable for all the debts of the firm and one or more limited partners liable only up to the amount contributed by them to the partnership. One such partnership was registered during the year, bringing the total number registered to sixteen. From enquiries made during the year it appears that only six of these companies are still in existence.
