29. Four licences to keep local or branch Share Registers were granted under Section 103 of the Ordinance.

Money-Lenders

30. 11 Money-lenders licences. were issued under the Money-Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163). This is 8 less than in 1954/55, the reduction being no doubt due to the heavy increase in the fee from $50 to $500 on 25th March, 1955.
