33. The total number of Trade Marks on the Register on the 31st March, 1954, was 9,792.
Opposition to Registration.
34. Notices of opposition to applications for registration were received under Section 14 of the principal Ordinance in 13 cases. Two of these oppositions went to a hearing before the Registrar. There was no appeal to the Court from the Registrar's decisions in these cases.
Associated Trade Marks.
35. 194 marks were registered as Associated Trade Marks under Section 24.
Renewals of Registrations.
36. 313 Trade Mark registrations were renewed for a period of 14 years under Sections 28 to 30.
Changes in Names and Addresses.
37. Under Section 32(b) 123 changes were made in the names and addresses of registered proprietors of Trade Marks.
Registration of Subsequent Proprietors.
38. Under Section 33 119 persons were entered in the Register as subsequent proprietors of registered Trade Marks by assignment, transmission or other operation of law.
Fees.
39. Fees collected during the year amounted to $50,827.00, an increase of $699.00 over the previous year's total,
