Companies Registration.
14. During 1952/53, 229 new companies were incorporated in Hong Kong under the provisions of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 32) and 20 Certificates of Compliance with the provi- sions of Part XI of the Ordinance were issued to foreign corporations which had established a place of business within the Colony. These figures represent a decrease of 19 and 10 respectively from the comparable figures for 1951/52.
15. The following table shows the number of Companies incorporated in Hong Kong during the years 1946/47 to 1952/53 and the sum total of the nominal capital of such companies:
