MARRIAGE REGISTRY
11. The number of marriages celebrated in the Colony during 1952/53 was 2,348, of which 2,032 were between Chinese, as compared with 2,111 and 1,776 respectively in the previous year. Particulars are given in Table IX infra.
12. The total amount of fees received was $23,247-an increase of $3,332.00 as compared with 1951/52. are shown in Table X.
