Deposits by Fire, Marine and Life Insurance Companies.
28. As at 31st March, 1952, the total amount of deposits made by Insurance Companies with the Registrar of Companies under the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance (Cap. 34) was $7,054,357.90, and the total amount of deposits made by Insurance Companies under the Life Insurance Companies Ordinance (Cap. 36) was $2,176,941.42. Tables XII and XIII respectively give particulars of the deposits under these Ordinances.
