1. Registration.

276 new companies were incorporated here during the year and 38 foreign corporations were registered during the same period. At the 31st March 1950 the total number of local com- panies registered was 2,356 and the total number of foreign corporation was 431.
2. Fees.
The total amount of the fees collected during the period was $141,021.62.
3. Deposits.
The aggregate amount of the deposits held from Insurance Companies under the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance 1917 as at the 31st March, 1950 was $6,758,357.90. On the same date the total amount of the deposits under the Life Insurance Companies Ordinance 1907 was $1,753,541.42. Lists of the individual deposits are attached.
