By 31st March, 1959, playgrounds of this type had been completed at Tai Hang Tung, Li Cheng Uk and Shek Kip Mei Estates.
92. Crown Land in the vicinity of the resettlement estates is also reserved for schools, welfare centres and clinics. A large Government polyclinic in Shek Kip Mei and a Government school in Li Cheng Uk were completed in 1958. By the end of the year under review one Government school near Tai Hang Tung Estate was completed and two more schools were under construction, one near Shek Kip Mei and the other at Wong Tai Sin Estate.
