People First, three times each week this programme describes the work of the City District Officers, and how the public can benefit from their presence.
For the Blind, a fortnightly programme which deals exclusively with the blind community. It features music and songs by blind musicians, discussions with blind people, and gives extensive coverage of subjects which are of particular interest to the blind.

16. The Chinese Service continued to produce a lively programme of entertainment.
Opera-The Lung Cheung Opera Company has maintained a steady output of an average of five performances every month. These live shows, many of them on location, have become a regular contribution to the cultural life of Hong Kong. Arranged in collaboration with the Urban Services Department the operas have done more than anything else to bring the Radio Hong Kong artists into closer contact with their listen- ing public.
