(b) The encouragement of private hawkers markets as a measure leading to the provision of additional space if required.
(c) The erection of concrete food-stalls to an approved hygienic
pattern.
(d) The institution of a new form of licence. to be styled the
Pedlars Licence.
(e) The immediate reduction in the number of items of goods in the various classes in which hawkers licences are at present issued, to make more room for those who sell goods for the sale of which by hawkers there is some justification at present.
(f) Measures which will bring about as soon as possible the provision of cheap eating-houses and workers canteens. (g) The incorporation into the Hawkers Ordinance, 1935, of certain sections of the Municipal Ordinance of the (former) Straits Settlements and other provisions regarding the disposal of seized or abandoned goods.
(h) Certain amendments in by-laws under the Hawkers Ordin-
ance, 1935.
(i) Deportation for persons convicted of hawking offences, who have four previous convictions for similar offences endorsed on their licences.
() Publicity for any measures which it is proposed to adopt.
