A detailed list giving individual piers and wharves referred to in the Summary will be found in the Appendix.

3. It is estimated that in order to put the above piers and wharves into good condition, using 1941 condition as a basis for calculation, or in the case of those coming under condition (4) allowing for complete reconstruction, the following materials will be required:-

Miscellaneous minor services, such as water supply to wharves, electric lighting, etc. are not included in the above. It must be noted that the above figures constitute only a rough estimate, and that considerable latitude must be allowed when it is possible to detail each item.
