With a total storage of 2,118.41 million gallons and a total catchment area, direct and indirect, of 3,278 acres, I estimate the capacity of the existing Capacity. Hong Kong Works at 7.25 million gallons per day. This supply is made up of approx. 3 million gallons per day by gravitation and 4.25 million gallons per day by pumping.
The Tytam Tuk Pumping Station contains three sets of pumps by Messrs. Simpsons, London, each set capable of delivering 3 million gallons per day, and two sets of Messrs. Tangye's pumps each capable of delivering 14 million gal- lons per day, or a total Pumping Station Capacity of 11 million gallons per day.
