Source of Bodies.
The following Table shows the source of the bodies. It will be seen that 60·3% of the total number were found thrown out either into the street, hill-
ide, vacant ground, or harbour :—

In addition to the bodies examined by post-mortem in the Mortuary, 414 bodies have been inspected by the Inspectors and given burial orders, no suspicion
of infectious disease being present.
