The Officer Administering the Government recommends the Council to vote a sum of Seven hundred and five Dollars ($705) to cover the cost of 3 months' rent for a room at "Cragieburn" ($630) aud of tram tickets ($75), for the use of the Nursing Sisters of the Government Civil Hospital.

The Officer Administering the Government recommends the Council to vote a sum of Ninety Dollars ($90), being grant of a teacher's allowance to Mr. N. G. NOLAN, Interpreter to the Magistracy, for studying the Fukien dialect, for 9 months at the rate of $10 per mensem.
