The Committee met at the request of the Colonial Secretary.

The Minutes of the last Meeting, held on the 29th July, 1901, were read and confirmed. Read the following Minutes under the hand of His Excellency the Governor :-

The Governor recommends the Council to vote a sum of Eleven thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven Dollars ($11,967) to meet the cost of the crection of certain matsheds, &c., to be used as Public Baths.

ABSTRACT.

Matsheds, including tubs, &c., &c.,..

Firewood, wages of attendants, &c., up to 31st May,
