The Minutes of the last Meeting, held on the 22nd December, were read and confirmed.
His Excellency the Governor stated that Mr. KESWICK was excused from attending the Meeting.

AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE PROVISION WITH REGARD TO CERTAIN HOUSES CLOSED DURING THE PREVALENCE OF THE BUBONIC PLAGUE AND TO MAKE FURTHER AND BETTER PROVISION FOR THE HEALTH OF THE COLONY."-Council in Committee on the Bill.

The Council resumed.
The Attorney General moved the third reading of the Bill.
The Acting Colonial Secretary seconded.

Bill read a third time and passed.
His Excellency the Governor addressed the Council.
Mr. CHATER briefly responded.
ADJOURNMENT. His Excellency the Governor adjourned the Council sine die.
