On the 22nd October the weather was fine in China and the Philippines. prevailed in China. Vessels in the China Sea experienced strong NE breezes. Xenia, bound from Sydney for Hongkong, at noon in 12° 52′, 133° 59′, had high barometer (29.90 at noon), NNE 1, a smooth sea and a NE swell was met.
