Sometimes it happens that problems arise in one of the correctional institutions run by the Proba- tion and Corrections Division, and when this happens the staff are called together to discuss them with the Superintendent. Here the photographer has captured such a meeting in progress at the O Pui Shan Boy's Home,
During the year, many young people in the department's community centres took increasing interest in the welfare of the aged as a part of community service. The young man in the photograph was a volunteer who gave up much of his time during his free weekends to serve the elderly-in this case by offering cakes to an old man.
