MA DE KEX PE YAU MA TEI THEATRE
1. The Yau Ma Tei Theatre,
built in 1930, re-opened in July as a Cantonese opera centre.
2. A statue of Jao Tsung-1, the renowned sinologist, at the Academy bearing his name which opened on the site of the former Lai Chi Kok Hospital in June.
