WAN CHAI POLICE STATION
Above: Located at the junction of Gloucester Road and Fleming Road, the historic Wan Chai Police Station, completed in 1932, is a symmetrical U-shaped, four-storey building in Neo- Classical style with sculptures on the columns (right) and a turret designed for officers to monitor the situation outside for defence (far right). The police vacated the building in November.
It will be conserved and revitalised for other purposes such as a hotel and/or for commercial, community or cultural use.
