East Asian Game
8th Hong Kong hosted the 5th East Asian Games (EAG) in December. The city's athletes excelled, achieving their
best-ever result in an EAG and winning a total of 110 medals - 26 gold, 31 silver and 53 bronze - placing Hong Kong 4th overall among the nine participating countries and regions.
