Food watch
The Centre for Food Safety
was set up under the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to improve food safety assessment and to meet public demand for better food hygiene standards. The gas chromatograph is used to measure the cholesterol, trans fats, pesticide residue and organic contamination levels of food.
