The full programme of activities on July 1, marking the 5th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR, began with the National and Hong Kong flags being raised at the Golden Bauhinia Square. In the following ceremonies, President Jiang officiated as the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, took the oath of office, and he then swore in the Principal Officials (below).
