Hong Kong is the world's largest toy exporter and, not surprisingly, its Toys and Games Fairs attract thousands of buyers from around the world each year. In all, 7 992 buyers attended the 1998 fair, held at the Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from January 7 to 10.
A survey released by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council after the fair found a substantial majority of those taking part were optimistic about the year's business.
