Boardsailer Lee Lai-shan waves to thousands of people gathered to welcome her back to her family home on Cheung Chau Island after she won the first gold medal since Hong Kong entered the Olympic Games in 1952. The Games were held in Atlanta, USA, in August. In the same venue a fortnight later, Hong Kong won more gold medals at the Paralympics.
