Publications during the year included a collection of solar data for Hong Kong (Royal Observatory Technical Note No. 14), the results of special radiosonde observations during a partial solar eclipse (Technical Note No. 15), an analysis of low cloud and poor visibility at Sek Kong (Technical Note No. 16), and details of the storm warning service and of weather services for shipping.
