Golf
Golf has been played in Hong Kong since about 1888. The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club, the total membership of which is at present 1,055, has three courses: a short 9-hole course at Deep Water Bay and The Deep two 18-hole courses at Fanling in the New Territories. The club houses at Deep Water Bay and Fanling are well appointed and residential facilities are provided for members of the Fanling Club. Golf is played throughout the year in Hong Kong but is most popular during the cooler months from October to April.
