A four-day cartoon characters open-top bus carnival was held to raise funds for "Project Hope".
一項為期四天的卡通巴士大匯演爲「希望工程」籌募捐款。
Community Involvement
In July, a four-day cartoon characters open-top bus carnival was held at the New World Exhibition Plaza, as a fund-raising venture, with part of the revenue donated to Project Hope for needy students in China. Hong Kong students were invited to draw cartoons, which were sent to China together with the
donations.
The Company also participated in several events to raise money for the needy and the Community Chest, and to encourage staff to give blood to the Red Cross. The Company donated $170,000 to the Community Chest in January 1993.
參與社會事務
七月份,本公司在新世界中心之展覽會場舉行 一項為期四天卡通巴士大匯演,此乃一項籌款 活動,部分收益撥捐希望工程,幫助國內家境 清貧之學生。活動中邀請香港學生繪畫卡通人 物,並將圖畫連同捐款一併送往國內。
本公司亦會參與多項為有需要人士及公益金的 籌款活動,和鼓勵員工向紅十字會捐血。本公 司並於一九九三年一月捐款十七萬元予公益 金。
