are constantly consulted. There has been much useful publicity of the Authority's various housing schemes (completed, under construction, or planned), both in the Colony and overseas.
H.R.H. PRINCESS ALEXANDRA OF KENT, G.C.V.O.
74. The Authority was honoured on Wednesday, 8th November, 1961 when, during the course of a visit to the Colony, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra of Kent, G.C.V.O., accompanied by Lady Moyra HAMILTON and Sir Philip HAY, visited the So Uk Estate.
75. Her Royal Highness was received by the Chairman, Housing Authority who presented members of the Authority, the staff and the Chairman of the Architects' Consortium who explained the layout of the Estate.
76. Her Royal Highness subsequently planted a commemorative tree outside the Estate Office and visited the home of one of the residents. Prior to departure Her Royal Highness was presented with a small album of photographs of the Estate.
77. The visit aroused great interest and enthusiasm and a crowd estimated at about 20,000 people greeted Her Royal Highness with continuous cheering.
