A SLATE'S PUNDAMENT. Late in the fall of the year lately attempted to make his earize several times, was missing was four days before we found him. On the third morning, as i passed the stocks, I stopped to look at him. His head hung down over the chain which supported his neck. I spoke, but he did not answer. He was dead in the stocks!
