MINERAL WEALTH OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
It is not quite four months since we anaounced that a special survey of 30,000 acres, in a rich mineral country, had been securred by the eater. prising colonists of Boath Australia.
That survey has been denominated the Burma Creek (the very big creek) and one portion of it is called the Monster Mine! So very indusinops have been the fortunate proprietors of that half of the survey, and so pleatiful the ores, and withal sa easily procured, that they have engaged freight for Ave hundred tons, and had that gugurity at Port "Adelaide ready for shipment by the 10h of De- cember Jast. Comparatively few bands have been at work in procuring that unmenso quantity of ore, and these men have been employed rather co qu£ 5- riers than as miners.
By the arrival of the Taglioni, the first woel ship of the season, which sailed on the 1th of De member, information has been recerred of inother special norvey of 20,000 acres living been applied for and secared by some of the coloswis
