THE Union Chapel being now completed, the Building Committee beg leave to return thanks to the foreign Community in China for the very literal manner in which they responded to the call for the erection of this place of Divine Worship The Subscriptions already received amount the sum of 63503, 58, The sum mentioned in the Pros- pectus as necessary for the Completion of the Chapel was 84000. The expenditure has exceeded that sum by 285.29, leaying the Committee in 4. debt to the amount of 8781.70. Relying on the ALL parties having claims against the estate of generosity of the public, the Committee would again the late JOHN WILLIAN Cousas, or who may come forward, and respectfully solicit their aid in the liquidation of this sum.
