of Mineral Tar and oil paints in small casks and cases, at a very moderate price.

The Mineral Tar Paint is particularly adaped for all out-buildings, being impervious to the weather, and prevents the decay of whatever material is coated with it.

To the architect, engineer, and builder, in the construction of buildings and of railroads, it will be found of great value for wood laid under ground, or imbedded in stone or brickwork, for tiles, in- ferior slates, and plaster work, exposed to the wea, ther; for piles, flood-gates, bridges, jetties, and piers, and all material in any exposed situation, liable to speedy decay; possessing, as it does, the property of preserving Timber in its original soun- dness without making it brittle, and is the best pre- server of Iron-work yet discovered. It was used in repairing York Minister, and is regularly used for the Hounslow and croydon barracks and other buildings belonging to government,

Ship builders, ship owners, and barge-masters, will find it the best material for painting the bot- toms of vessels and dressing the decks-for painting the funnels of steam-bonts, boilers, the flouring and sides of engine-rooina andi-en tanks.-for effectual- ly destroying the worn, and preventing the dry-rot, It has been used upon the Emerald, Duchess of Kent, Prince George, Royal George, Duke of Sus. rex, and the city of Boulogne steam-vessels, and upon other steam and sailing vessels with perfect satisfaction.
