Pritchard is guilty; he was justly arrested and expelled, and yet France is to pay the expenses of the proceeding. Let there be no medium; if Pritchard be without reproach, we demand his retura in Tahiti, the disavowal dismis sal of Messrs Brust and d'Aubiguy, and the fullest reparation to England, but of Pritchard has been the insugator of the hostilities in Tahiti agaidst us, let there be no censure, no indemnity, but full and entire reparation to France. Between these two points there is room only for silly cowardice."
