LORD ELLENBOROUGH'S INDIAN ADMINISTRATION. Alum
(Continued from No 172) Lord Ellenborough, having withdrawn our troops from Afghanistan, and anneged young Egypt-na Scinde has been called by an impro vement on his, Lordship's phraseology to our empire, and thus completed all the objects which gave a color of excuse to his absence from the Supreme Council, took up his residence at Agra, and it seemed as if the separation was to be final, when the Steamers were suddenly ordered up to Allahabad to bring his Lordship back to Calcutta.
