FROM THE PERING GAZETTES. PATRIOTISM IN SZE-CHUEN. Many of the patriotic Mandarins in Sze chuen Province, not hearing of the establishment of peace, have made free,—will offerings for the sup port and encouragement of the celestial forces against tho Barbarians, amounting to upwards of one hundred and seventy thou- sand dollars. The matter was mentioned favorably to the Emperor by the Governor of the Province, who orders, the names of the said Patriots, to be laid before him, that they all may receive imperial favors and promotion.
