THE Contract hitherto in force for the publication of GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATIONS having ceased on the 21st instant
be hereafter the only Official Organ of Proclamations, Notifications, and all Public Papers of this Government.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby intimated to Masters of Ships, Seamen, and all others whom it may concern, that Crews for Vessels lying within the waters of this Colony can be shipped solely at the Harbour Master's Office, on application at which the official Regulations may be known.
It is particularly notified that the intervention of a Shipping Agent is not necessary, and the Harbour Master has received directions to dissallow all Fees to Shipping Agents, in whatever form they may appear, on accounts between Boarding House Keepers and Seamen.
