GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

THE Contract hitherto in force for the publication of GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATIONS having ceased on the 21st instant. Notice is hereby given, that the HONGKONG GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, this day established, will be hereafter the only Official Organ of Proclamations, Notifications, and all Public Papers of this Government.

It is hereby notified that the Licenses to keep Boarding Houses for Seamen will expire on the 30th instant, and that persons desiring fresh Licenses must apply on or before Monday the 27th instant at the Harbour Master's Office, where information will be given as to the conditions under which such Licenses will be granted.
