GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
Notice is hereby given, that the terms for which Annual Licenses have been granted to the present Holder, for the Privileges of Salt-weighing and Stone-quarrying throughout the Island, will expire on the 31st Instant; and the same privileges, for a period of one year commencing from the 1st of September next, will be separately put up for sale by Public Auction, at the office of the Chief Mag- istrate of Police, on Saturday the 19th Instant, at one o'clock P.M., unless they shall have been previously disposed of by Tender; and Sealed Tenders, addressed to the Colonial Secretary, will be received at this office up to Thursday the 17th Instant, at Noon.
