PANY'S Steam-ship DOURO, Captain HEDERSTEDT,

with Her Majesty's Mails, Passengers, Specie, and Cargo, will leave this for the above Places, on Monday the

22d May, at 2 P. M.

CARGO will be received on board until 5 P. M. on the

20th, SPECIE until Noon on the 21st, and PARCELS until 2 P. M. on the 21st.

at the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Com-

pany's Office, Hongkong.

CONTENTS, AND VALUE OF PACKAGES, ARE REQUIRED.

A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Ship- per to the Company's Agents with the Bills of Lading, or with Parcela; and the Company do not hold themselves responsible for any Detention or Prejudice which may happen from incorrectness in such declaration.

The above detail of Troops (which may slightly vary

in number before the day of embarkation) to be provided by the Master with the usual regulated RATION While embarked, and the Vessel to be provided with a SURGEON,

and to be fitted with HOSPITAL ACCOMMODATION and CON- VENIENCES, for Service of the Invalids, in addition to what is required for Troops in good health.

TENDERS will be received (endorsed Tenders for Troops)

until Noon of WEDNESDAY the 31st instant, which are to specify the Rates for each class of persons, and

Parties proposing to tender may obtain full information

on any previous day, at the Office of the undersigned, from 10 A.M. until 3 P.M.
