NOTICE is hereby given that under instructions from Government, the RED LIGHT which has been exhibited, since the year 1845, from the LIGHT HOUSE on FAQUEER'S POINT, at the entrance of the Harbour of AKYAB, will be discontinued on and from the first day of May 1854.
2. The LIGHT on the GREAT SAVAGE at the ENTRANCE of ARRACAN RIVER will continue to be exhibited as at present.

tofore subsisting between YORICK JONES MURROW and JAMES STEPHENSON under the Style or Firm of MURROW, STEPHENSON & Co, has been this day dissolved. The undersigned, assuming the responsibili- ties of the said Firm, will in future conduct the business on his own account and in his own name.

A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Ship- per to the Company's Agents with the Bills of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold themselves responsible for any Detention or Prejudice which may happen from incorrectness in such declaration.
