T the Adjourned First General Meeting of Creditors in the above matter, held
of November, 1907, it was resolved by special at the Supreme Court House on the 27th day
resolution of the creditors present to entertain a proposal for a Composition in the following
terms :-
1. That payment in priority to all other debts directed to be so paid in the distribution of the property of a bankruptcy shall be provided for as follows:-
By payment in full to MessPS. DOUGLAS LAPRAIK & Co., of the sum of $4,500.00 with arrears of interest secured by the mortgage of No. 16 Pottinger Street.
By payment in full of all arrears of rent due to Ho A CHUN in respect of rent.
2. That provision for payment of all the proper costs charges and expenses of and incidental to the proceedings and all fees and percentages payable to the Official Receiver and the Bailiff of the Supreme Court shall be made in the following manner :-
By payment of the same out of the funds now in hands of the Official Receiver,
3. That the following Composition shall be paid as hereinafter mentioned on all provable debts :-
The payment of a dividend of 71% with- in one month of approval of this composition on all provable debts as estimated in the Statement of Affairs.

4. That the payment of the Composition be secured in the following manner :-
The personal bond of some person to be
approved by the Creditors.
The meeting for the purpose of deciding whether the above resolution shall be confirmed will be held at the Supreme Court House (Small Court) on Mon- day the 9th December, 1907, at 3.30 o'clock in the afternoon,
The proposal for a composition can be confirmed only by a majority in number representing three-fourths in value of all the creditors who have proved and is subject to the approval of the Court.

OTICE is hereby given that the Yu HING
NOONG Rim of No. 25 Wing Lok Street,
Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong have on the 21st day of September, 1907, and on the 5th day of November, 1907, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks viz.:-
(a.) The representation of a Chinese stove
on the top of a stump of a tree with a bowl on the top of the stove and smoke or steam emitting from the bowl. On the right hand side of the stove is the representation of a Chinese girl in a kneeling position with the right hand pointing upwards and the left hand holding a fan and fanning the fire in the stove. Five birds are seen flying above the stove and the words Yu HING LOONG appear on the top of the pieture, and on the right hand side thereof is the representation of a willow-tree with the words "STOVE BRAND,-CONNELL MILLING COMPANY underneath.
The Chinese characters

meaning “dark purple stove as (our) trade mark" are seen on the stove. (b.) The representation of ณ Chinese Arbour with bells hanging on its eaves; facing it on the right hand side are some bamboo trees, at the foot of which are two cranes one of which is facing the Arbour and the other is looking at a streem near the Arbour. At the foot of the representation are the words "Arbour-Connell Milling Company", the whole enclosed in au ornamental border. On the top of the picture are the words "YU HING LOONG" and the Chinese characters
“竹亭爲記”(in an ornamental
border) meaning Bamboo Arbour Trade Mark ";
in the name of the said YU HING LOONG firm, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The Trade Marks are intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of Flour, in Class 42.
Facsimiles of the Trade Marks can be seen at the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong and also at the Offices of the under- signed.
