IS Excellency The Naval Commander-in-Chief

H' having been pleased to make the following

arrangement relative to the DEPARTURE OF THE MAILS, the same is hereby notified_for_Public in- formation, viz.:

Whenever, the day for the departure of the Packets falls on a Sunday, the hour of Sailing is to be changed from 2 P.M. to 9 A.M.

HER MAJESTY'S NAVAL YARD, HONGKONG, 2d May, 1857.

THE undersigned will receive SEALED TEN- DERS until Noon of the 16th inst., for raising the Hall of Her Majesty's Ship “Raleigh," now sunk near Koho Islands, off Macao, and bringing it to Hongkong, subject to the following conditions:-

The Ship and all the Stores or other articles re- maining on board to the delivered up to the Naval Authorities.

During the operations Her Majesty's Ship Alligator to be left with the Raleigh, for the accommodation of the people employed, and a Ship of War stationed for their protection.
