THEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Court, at the suit of the above-named HERMANN SCHAEFFER, against the above- named P. A. NELSON, to recover One Thousand and Seven Dollars and Sixty-two Cents, for goods sold and delivered, and for money advanced, at the request of the said P. A. NELSON; and it being alleged that the said P. A. NELSON does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a Writ of Fordyn Attachment has been issued, returnable ov the Twenty-third day of Match instant, wherein one Antes, of Hongkong aforesaid, is Garnishee: Notice is hereby given thereof, and that if, at any time I fore dual judgment in this action, the said P. A. Nosos, or any person on his behalf, will give the Security and Notice and File the Appearance or Plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, intituled, *An Ordinance to provide for and regulate Process “ia Actions ut Law, against Persons absent from the "Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.
