OUTER HARBOR WORKS.

MASTERS of Vessels, Pilots, and others are hereby notified that while the Dredger is working in the channel on or near the line of No. 2 lead, such Dredger will, upon the approach of vessels, either inward or outward bound, always move to the South side of the. cutting, provided that the vessels give the signal mentioned in Notice to Mariners, No. 27 of 1906, when at the occulting buoy and No. 3 beacon respectively. The Dredger will there- fore always show the same signals, viz., a Red Ball by Day and a Red Light under White by Night, indicating that she must be left on the starboard side inward and the port hand outward.

This affects Admiralty Charts Nos. 2389A and B, 1750, and 1752.

MASTERS of Vessels and others are informed that the correct position of the Reef men- tioned in Notice to Mariners, No. 10 of 1907, is Lat. 10° 59′ 40′′ S., and Long. 132° 14′ 10′′

E.

This affects Admiralty Chart No. 1042.

SPENCER GULF.

MASTERS of Vessels and others are warned that it has been reported that a Spar on End, and showing about 1ft. above water, exists about 10 miles E. by S. from the Entrance Buoy, Franklin Harbor.

Lat. 33° 53' S.; long. 137° 11' E.

This Spar is possibly a Mast of a Submerged Vessel, and is a Danger to Navigation. This affects Admiralty Chart No. 2389B.
