ALEXANDER WILSON, Defendant. ́HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the Suit of the above named JULIUS HALLPIKE, against the above named ALEXANDER WILSON, to recover damages for the breach of a Promise and Agreement by the said ALEXANDER WILSON to take the said JULIUS HALLPIKE into partnership in the Firm or Business carried on at Hongkong under the name or style of MACEWEN & COMPANY, and it being alleged

that the said ALEXANDER WILSON does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies, a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued, returnable on the Fourth day of July next, wherein GEORGE NORRIS, of Hongkong aforesaid, Storekeeper, is Garnishee: Notico is hereby given thereof, and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said ALEXANDER WILSON or any Person on his behalf will give the accurity and notice, and file the Appearance or Plea required by the Ordinance of this Island, intituled “An Ordinance to provide “for and regulate Process in actions at Law against "Persons absent from the Colony," the said Attach- | ment may be dissolved,
