PROCLAMATION.

HERCULES G. R. ROBINSON.

By His Excellency SIR HERCULES GEORGE ROBERT ROBINSON, Knight, Governor and Commander- n-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same.

Whereas the Commands of Her Most Gracious Majesty The QUEEN, conveyed through The Right Honorable Sir G. Cornewall Lewis, Bart., One of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, have been received, approving of and confirming the following Ordinances; namely:

No. 5 of 1860, entitled-“ An Ordinance for repealing Ordinance No. 5 of 1858;”

No. 7 of 1860, entitled-" An Ordinance to extend to this Colony certain Rules and Orders

of the Superior Courts at Westminster":

Now, therefore, it is hereby declared, that the said Ordinances have been so approved and con- firmed, as aforesaid.
